Jake Harper and DI GEORGE MORRIS continue to unpick the evidence of the case, but with the suspects now in custody they are confronted with two very conflicting accounts of the murders. Which emotional account will be considered the truth? Elizabeth’s frustration increases, when taunted by one of the suspects, she crosses the line and explodes back into the investigation. But when a new piece of information puts everything jeopardy, she is left devastated. At rock bottom and with her allies once unquestioned faith in her shaken, Elizabeth is at last forced to choose between her professional and personal loyalties. Meanwhile, Elizabeth’s drastic solution to stop one of her enemies has caused unforeseen damages. Further allowing for Walker’s increased meddling and creates fractures in Bevan’s and Daanish Kamara’s allegiances to Elizabeth. Deserted by her allies and left out in the cold, Elizabeth enters a dangerous game of cat and mouse and is driven to turn to an unexpected source of support.
