In DISCOVER THE FIREBIRD, the Discovery Orchestra helps both classical music novices and seasoned concertgoers to hear and appreciate new details in Igor Stravinsky's 1919 "Firebird Suite." Written, hosted and conducted by George Marriner Maull, the program uses an entertaining, interactive deconstruction process to break down Stravinsky's unusual compositions and orchestration techniques.
