In today’s extra-special house the Secret Dealers are spoilt for choice with a collection amassed from one man’s globetrotting lifestyle. Dealers Tim, Christopher and Alison are given just two hours to rummage through Cromar’s home while he is away, placing their secret bids on the items they want the most. When Cromar returns, the bids are revealed and then it’s a case of sentiment versus cold hard cash as Cromar has to make some difficult decisions about what to sell, and how much he might be prepared to let his precious collection go for. An old fly-fishing book captivates our dealers and sends the bids spiraling upwards, and a collection of twenty-five Royal Doulton Charles Dickens figures, from Mr. Pickwick to Oliver Twist, leaves all the dealers wanting more.
