It’s a battle of sentiment versus cash for the homeowners once the Secret Dealers have been through their houses making their secret bids on the items they want to buy. The homeowners have to decide whether to keep or sell their most precious belongings once the bids are revealed. But who will come out on top? Homeowner Anne gets more than she bargained for with today’s dealers, as an oil on canvas landscape painting reduces dealer Alison to floods of tears. Luckily fellow dealers Tim and Mark are on hand to help mop things up, in their own inimitable way. A crate of Rothschild wine and a Victorian silver sovereign case complete with three sovereigns and a mysterious letter ‘M’ on the front also get the dealers pulses racing. In Quentin and Mary’s home it’s a Worcester sauce boat and a Wilton lusterware vase that all the dealers want.
