This visit to the San Bernardino Mountains begins at Holcomb Valley. Once a gold mining area, it's also populated with wildflowers. The north slope of the mountain reveals additional unique species of flowering plants. A trip to the back country shows us surprising numbers and kinds of wildflowers.
