The Comcast America's Children's Holiday Parade is one of most unique and best parades of its kind in the country. The 2010 parade will feature PBS KIDS stars; Miss Rosa, Mr. Steve, Sid the Science Kid, Cat in the Hat, Buddy the Dinosaur, the cast of Super Why, Curious George, Clifford, Maya and Miguel, Wordgirl and many more along with of colorful floats, terrific marching bands, giant helium balloons, and performance groups. Over 100,000 spectators line the streets of downtown Oakland to view this event live. The 2010 parade will be hosted by actor Mark Curry, star of the 1990's hit ABC show "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," and Claudine Wong of KTVU-FOX 2.
