On October 2, 1970, two chartered planes carrying Wichita State University football players, coaches and boosters left Denver heading for Logan, Utah. One plane followed the charted course. The other plane deviated from the plan and crashed into the side of a mountain. Thirty-one people died in that crash but nine survived. The tragedy forever altered the University and the Wichita community. This powerful documentary recounts the story of that fateful day, and the subsequent journey of healing and recovery.
