The America's Children's Holiday Parade is one of most unique and best parades of its kind in the country. The 2011 parade will feature PBS KIDS stars Sid the Science Kid, Cat in the Hat, the cast of Super Why, Clifford, and many more along with of colorful floats, terrific marching bands, giant helium balloons, and performance groups. Over 100,000 spectators line the streets of downtown Oakland to view this event live. The 2011 parade will be hosted by Claudine Wong of KTVU-FOX 2 and Miss Rosa from PBS KIDS as the special guest host.
