Lidia's Italy in America

Sicily In New York City

Season 2, Episode 4 of 26

The Sicilians were a large immigrant community in lower Manhattan and other areas of New York City, and they brought with them several dishes from their homeland. Today, Lidia celebrates the Sicilians with a Stuffed Calamari Dish and a Broccoli with Garlic and Anchovies. She then makes a Cappuccino Cake which she actually discovered in New Orleans - another locale with a very large Sicilian population.
