Italian American immigrants headed to the Midwest and created their communities in cities like Chicago, St. Louis and Kansas City. In this episode, Lidia celebrates some of the Italian American dishes found on many a Kansas City menu including Penne Rigate alla Vodka, Chicken Parmigiana and Tiramisu. We'll even enjoy a moment where Lidia went back to Emilia Romagna to visit with her dear friend, Monica, to see how the chickens there are raised and appreciated.
