Lidia opened her own restaurant in the Strip District in Pittsburgh where other Italian-American immigrants also started earlier businesses. But Pittsburgh's other well known "Little Italy" is called Bloomfield. She also visits with Maria Merante, a wonderful Italian American woman who left her mark in Pittsburgh.
