Recently, the English National Opera conducted a nationwide search to find someone with no operatic experience who could be coached to sing in Verdi's Rigoletto on the stage of the London Coliseum, side by side with world-class performers. The result is Operatunity, the compelling story of six, then ultimately two, raw talents vying to make their operatic dreams a reality. The film captures their dramatic adventure, from regional auditions and operatic "boot camp" to opening night.
