A Salute to Vienna is a lavish music and dance gala concert taped live at the historic Konzerthaus in Vienna, Austria in April 2013. Hosted by world-famous mezzo soprano Frederica von Stade, (Metropolitan Opera) and Academy Award-winning actor and Viennese-native Maximilian Schell, (Judgment at Nuremberg), this fundraising special celebrates the musical heritage of Vienna. The concert presents the most-popular excerpts from well-known operettas like "The Merry Widow", "Land of Smiles", "Die Fledermaus," and many others, performed by an international cast of superstars.
