PRESENT FOR MUMMY It’s Connie mother’s birthday, and she decides to give her a fine present. But as she doesn’t know what to give, she asks all her little friends in the meadow for advice. But each one suggests something which is better for them than for Connie’s mother, so poor Connie doesn’t know what to do. THE CHRISTMAS TREE Christmas is here, and for the first time Connie sees the snow. Her mother explains what the snow is, and how pretty it is, and all about Christmas customs. Connie sets off happily to find a Christmas tree to decorate their home, but this turns out to be more complicated than she imagined. THE CRAFTY CAT A very crafty cat arrives at the farm and teaches Connie how to get what she wants using trickery and deceit. Connie, who is very naive, tries to imitate the cat, but she’s too innocent...In the end, the cat gets what’s coming to him, and Connie understands that it’s always better to get things by honest means.
