Richard Alley once more hosts, contributing stories about America's past use of wood and whales as sources of energy, the promise of more efficient lighting and how to achieve a science-based national consensus on smart choices about energy and climate. On-camera comments also come from energy expert Daniel Yergin, author of "The Quest," Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute President and former head of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Shirley Jackson, utility CEO David Crane, Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Congressman Earl Blumenauer and a lively cast of characters from all locations featured in this fast-paced hour.
