UNLISTED: A STORY OF SCHIZOPHRENIA is a moving first-person account of one woman's troubled relationship with her father and his mental illness. Delaney Ruston, a Seattle-based physician, went into hiding to protect herself from her dad's erratic behavior and episodes of paranoia. After more than a decade of separation, she decides to reconnect with her father and document the reconciliation. In the process, she exposes the pain that mental illness inflicts on families and the urgent need to repair the mental-health system in the United States.
