Russell is playing outside and Mona joins him. They discover ice under the snow and start to slide on it. Nana comes out and she slides on the ice by mistake and she warns Mona and Russell that the ice is very slippery and that they should be careful. They head over to Mr. Wooka's yard for a puppet show. Mr. Wooka's Puppet Show- There is a patch of ice and a penguin is sliding about. A bear comes along but has trouble staying on his feet. The penguin teaches him how to slide on the ice. Soon they are joined by two ice-skating nuns and then a pair of snowmen and everyone s having a ball. At the end a zamboni machine comes in to clear the ice. Mona decides that she wants to ice skating like the nuns and Nana says they can go to the Park and Mr. Wooka will come to. Wooka, Nana, Russell and Mona head to the park with all their ice skates and shovels. They make their way to the rink and Nana goes to put her skates on while Mona and Mr. Wooka clear the snow from the rink with their shovels. Mr. Wooka teaches Mona how to shovel the snow and when they finish they join Nana on the bench to put their skates on. Once everyone is laced up they stand by the rink and first Mr. Wooka heads out on the ice with Russell. Nana and Mona give them a little push and they skate around. After a couple of goes Mr. Wooka needs a rest, so he heads to the bench where he pulls out his accordion to play a little ice skating music. Mr. Wooka plays the accordion Nana and Mona head out onto the ice for some skating time. Mona tries skating by her self and she is very good. Mr. Wooka and Russell sing together. Nana heads out onto the ice by herself and does some special skating maneuvers. She is very good and has a whole routine. She falls in the snow and then gets up and finishes off by spinning on one foot. She sits and joins them for some hot cocoa. Mona's mom has also joined them in the park for coco. After they sip their drinks mom takes Mona home.
