Mona hears a chirping from the house and goes into the backyard to discover what is making the noise. First she spots a bird but it isn't him, than she sees an airplane but that's not it. She spots a bee but it isn't making the chirp noise either. At last she sees Alice the cat. She starts to pet Alice and rub her belly and it makes Alice purr really loudly. Mona listens to her belly. Russell comes outside and spots Mona with Alice and starts to bark and chase the cat around the backyard. Mona is trying to separate them and all three are making quite a racket. Mr. Wooka comes into the yard the help keep Russell and Alice apart and Nana comes to see what is making all the noise. That reminds Wooka about today's puppet show. Mr. Wooka's Puppet Show-There is a young girl who has enormous ears and she meets a boy who is very loud. When he talks it hurts her ears. The girl gets the boy to move farther and farther away till she can listen to him without hurting her ears. He tells her she has beautiful ears. Mona and Russell head back to the yard to continue looking for the source of the chirp. Russell uses his highly sensitive ears and leads them to a cinderblock where they discover a cricket. Nana joins them tells Mona that they have found a cricket and then tells them it is time for lunch. Mona is eating soup and as she finishes she starts to bang on the bowl. It makes a distinctive noise. She starts to explore all the dishes and glasses at the table and they each make a different noise. She starts to make music out of all the noises and than Nana joins in and they make music together. Nana leaves Mona to play and heads into the living room to do some vacuuming. As nana starts to vacuum Russell starts to become scared of the noise the vacuum is making and he hides under the couch and then runs up stairs. After nana has finished vacuuming she gets Mona for a story. Story Time- Who is Who at the Zoo-Using buttons that make noise Mona guesses who the animals at the zoo are. After the story they notice that Russell is missing and Mona goes to find him. She calls him from the bottom of the stairs and Russell comes running. Nana pretends to sleep in the living room and make snoring noises. Russell and Mona find her on the couch and are intrigued by the noise she is making. After some listening Mona discovers that Nana is making the noise with her nose. They all have a laugh as Nana gets up and tells them she was having fun pretending to sleep. The doorbell rings and Mom comes to take Mona home.
