Mona and Russell head into the backyard to play when it starts to rain. They head inside and Nana tells them she has a surprise. She brings them into the living room for a video. They sit and get ready to watch as all the island creatures get together and sing a song. Mona and Russell get into the video. The video ends and Mona and Russell want to go outside but unfortunately it is still raining. Nana shows them how nice rain can be and they spot a bird enjoying the shower. Nana tells Mona she has another surprise for her in the kitchen, claydoh. Mona and Nana start to sculpt using the clay and Mona makes a duck. Russell joins in and steals the duck from the table. Mona chases him around and he finally lets the claydoh duck go but it is all goopy with his saliva. Nana puts a record on and the three of them dance around the living room and have a ball. After the record it is time for a story. Story Time-Sunny Bunny's Rainy Day-The Sunny bunny is upset because it is raining but he learns all the ways in which rain is good and fun. After the story Mona and Russell put their raincoats on and head into the yard to play in the rain. They spot a puddle and Russell tries to drink from it and Mona splashes about. They have a great time and then the doorbell rings and mom has arrived to take Mona home. After the song Mona's Mom arrives to take her home.
