Mona is in the backyard playing with a red balloon. Nana warns her to hold on tight or it will blow away. Russell joins Mona and she warns him to be careful not to lose the balloon. Russell lets the string go and catches it again. Mona is worried so she takes the balloon back and by mistake loses hold of it. The balloon starts to float away. Mona and Russell start to cry and Nana comes out to see what is wrong. They show her the balloon floating away and she decides to take them to Mr. Wooka's house to cheer them up. Mr. Wooka Puppet Show-A seal is hungry but he can't catch any fish. A migratory bird comes along and teaches him how to fish. He is very thankful and has made a new friend. However as the winter comes the bird has to fly south. They say goodbye and they will meet again in the spring. After the puppet show Mona decides to say goodbye to the balloon as it floats away. Everyone says goodbye and Nana tells Mona it is time for her bath. Mona is playing with her duck in the bath. Nana washes Mona's face and her back. They play peek-a-boo with the duck and Mona puts the Duck in the Bubbles and they say goodbye to the duck. Soon it is time to get out of the bath and Nana lets the water out. Mona says goodbye to water and bubbles as they go down the drain. After the bath Mona eats her lunch and it is time for dessert. Nana gives Mona cookies but there is only one left so Nana tells Mona that she should make it last, Mona nibbles the cookie. Than the phone rings and it is Mr. Wooka calling to see how Mona is handling the loss of her balloon. Nana gives Mona the phone and she specks to Mr. Wooka. When she is finished she says goodbye. Mona finishes her cookie with Russell and says bye-bye to the cookie. They head into the living room for a song. Song Time-The Goodbye Song-Nana sings about saying goodbye so you can say hello again. After the song the doorbell rings. Mona says goodbye to Russell and Nana and heads home with mom.
