A) Franny travels to Africa, where she meets Desta, a young ostrich who's babysitting an ostrich egg. Desta and Franny take the egg on an outing, but things go awry and the egg is lost. Franny uses her noggin to save the day, and she and Desta return the egg safely -- just in time to see it hatch. In Franny's Treasures, Franny and Bobby learn about characteristics of different birds. B) Franny travels to a meadow, where she meets a bumblebee named Busby, and a spider named Serena. While Busby methodically collects pollen, and Serena carefully spins her web, Franny learns about patience and the value of a job well done. In Franny's Treasures, Franny and Bobby help the audience learn about insects, including fireflies, ants, bees, and butterflies.
