Music City Roots Live From the Factory

MUSIC CITY ROOTS: LIVE FROM THE FACTORY delivers the eclectic sound of the new Nashville. The 14-part series showcases the growing Americana music scene that embraces traditional and progressive folk, country, bluegrass, soul, gospel and rock 'n' roll. The season premiere is the first from Music City Roots' new venue Liberty Hall featuring three Nashville treasures: songwriter Verlon Thompson, neo folk band Humming House, and country music legends Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell. Over the course of the 14-part series, MUSIC CITY ROOTS: LIVE FROM THE FACTORY highlights established musicians and emerging acts like retro swing by Nashville's Rachael Davis, soul roots from New Orleans veteran Tommy Malone, and cutting edge blues from young breakout artist Jarekus Singleton. Former Grand Ole Opry announcer Keith Bilbrey emcees with the help of Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale, and journalist Craig Havighurt interviews the musicians following each performance.
