Smelly Smell: Mona learns about smells, the good and the bad. - Mona and Russell are in the backyard exploring all the smells they can find. They smell the grass, the bugs, flowers, etc. Russell smells something he likes, and they see that it's garbage. Mona holds her nose. Nana tells Russell to get out of the garbage and brings him his food to eat instead. Mona smells his food and thinks that it smells bad too. While Russell eats, Nana and Mona visit Mr. Wooka. Nana gives Mr. Wooka the dog food can so he can recycle it. Mona tells Mr. Wooka that Russell likes the stinky garbage and Mr. Wooka responds that a sense of smell like Russell's is very useful. Puppet Show: Gary and his friends are lost and hungry. They shake the trees to see if any apples come down. At that moment an animal with a very large nose comes along, and the monsters get excited. They explain that a large nosed animal can help to find food with its glorious big nose. The Monsters all cheer because they won't be hungry anymore thanks to their new friend. Russell smells something and leaves Mr. Wooka's yard. He ends up at the garbage and opens the bag, and starts to pull the trash out. Mona and Nana look for Russell and find him in the garbage. He has made a huge mess and now he smells awful. Nana says he must take a bath. Russell is in the bathtub trying to escape. He attempts to jump out, but doesn't succeed. Mona smells the soap and it smells great. She soaps him up, and Nana rinses him off. They take him out of the tub, and dry him off. They all head downstairs for a story. Story Time: Sniffer Has An Amazing Nose (a scratch and sniff book) - A story about Sniffer the Dog, who smells all sorts of smells. Nana smells something. They all start to sniff but Mona and Russell do not smell a thing. Nana says she smells a song. Song Time: Smelly Song - A sniff and sing along about smells and who likes which ones. Nana joins Russell and Mona on the couch. Mona asks her if she knows where Fleafer is, but Nana has not seen him. Nana gets Russell to find Fleafer with his nose. He sniffs around the living room and the hallway. He finds Fleafer in the chair and brings him to Mona. They praise him for having such an excellent sense of smell, and for being such a good dog. Mommy comes to get Mona. Mona smells Mommy she is wearing nice new perfume.
