Windy Day: Mona learns all about the wind and how it is useful. - It is very windy outside. Nana is hanging her laundry out to dry, and Mona and Russell are making a tent out of a blanket. Mona uses a rock to hold down the corner of the blanket to keep it from blowing away. They go into their tent and play. Nana comments on how her clothes will dry fast due to the wind. Mona and Russell chase each other around the tent. They come out of the tent and Nana has them take a deep breath so they can appreciate the fresh air. They walk over to Mr.Wooka's to discuss the wind, and for a puppet show. Puppet Show: Gary and the rest of the monsters are lost at sea. They are too tired to row any further and agree that they should all get out of the boat. They attempt to push the boat, but it doesn't work. Nigel decides that they should all get back in the boat. Cheryl suggests that if they rock the boat, perhaps they will get back home, however, her plan doesn't work either. Roy offers that they should all wish for the best, and see what happens. Then a little man on a boat passes by and informs them that the wind has picked up, and they should use their sail. They take his advice, and begin to sail away. After the puppet show, Mona and Russell go back to their blanket tent, but while they are inside, the wind blows it away. Nana's clothes are blowing away as well. Nana and Mr. Wooka go to retrieve her laundry. Mona and Russell also help by catching a fly away apron. After Nana returns, they head inside to get out of the wind. Mona puts the apron in the basket and Nana takes a pie out of the oven. Mona blows on the pie to cool it down, but Nana has a better idea. She puts the pie on the windowsill so the wind can cool it down. Nana says she has the perfect book for today. Story Time: I Love My Kite. - The book is about the wind. Once the book has been read, Mr. Wooka comes to the door. He has brought a kite over for Mona. Mona and Mr. Wooka talk about how to fly the kite. He helps her get it into the air, and she has fun flying the kite. Nana soon joins them with two more kites that she has found in the basement. They all fly their kites together. Mona's mother comes and picks her up while Nana goes back out to fly kites with Mr. Wooka.
