Snow: Mona learns about hot and cold. - Mona runs out to play in the snow, however, she forgot to put her coat on. She realizes it is cold, and quickly runs back inside. Nana gets Mona's snow outfit and prepares her for the cold weather. As Nana is dressing her, she starts to feel warm again, and then, she starts to feel hot. Mona and Russell go outside to have fun in the snow. Russell digs, while Mona rolls a big snowball. Nana joins Mona, and teaches her that by making a few more snowballs, they can make a snowman. After they have constructed their snowman, Mona determines that he is cold. Mona and Russell decide to warm him up, and move the snowman into the house. After getting him into the house, they head over to Mr. Wooka's for a puppet show. Puppet Show: Two Nuns are going tobogganing. At the top of the hill they see a snowman. They continue to toboggan down the hill. It starts to get warm, and the snow begins to melt. The snowman also starts to melt. The Nuns return to go tobogganing again. On their way down they get stuck, and have to wiggle their way out. The snow, and snowman continue to melt. At that moment, Mona realizes that the snowman in the house is warming up and so he is probably melting too. The nuns come back to toboggan and realize that it is hot so there is no snow, and the snowman is becoming a big puddle. They go to the top of the hill to toboggan but they get stuck. Nana thanks Mr. Wooka and invites him to see their snowman. Nana then discovers that the snowman is no longer outside. Mona tells Nana the snowman is in the house and that he is getting hot. They go into the house and see that the snowman is indeed melting. Mr. Wooka helps move the snowman back into the yard. Later Mona is eating some porridge, and it is too hot. Nana cools it off by blowing on it. Mona starts to blow on it with Nana, but it is still too hot. Nana adds some cold milk to cool it further, and then it becomes the perfect temperature. Mona enjoys her yummy porridge. When she finishes, it is story time. Story Time: Harry Horse Knows About Hot and Cold - The story teaches about hot and cold. We learn how to keep cool when it is hot. We also learn about hot places and cold places, and the different things to wear to be comfortable in each situation. Mona becomes hot again, and decides to go outside to cool down, but first she puts her winter coat on. While outside, Russell gets stuck in the snow. He works his way out, but then becomes cold. Mona brings him inside and Nana wraps him in a blanket and warms him up. The doorbell rings, and Mommy comes to take Mona home.
