A) Franny lands right in the middle of a fossil dig in Canada, where she helps Joey and his mother dig for dinosaur fossils. In Franny's Treasures, Franny guides the audience in matching individual fossils to a Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Ichthyosaurus. Along the way, they learn the characteristics of these creatures that lived long ago. B) Franny travels to the coastline, where she meets Lily, who lives with her family in the lighthouse. Lily shows Franny all the things she does by herself, like flying a kite, learning about flowers, and picking blueberries. Franny discovers that she, too, can have lots of fun on her own. In Franny Treasures, Franny and Bobby ask the viewers to help them make a kite like Lily's. In doing so, they learn a about geometric shapes, such as triangles, squares, and octagons and why a kite needs a tail to fly.
