This live-action program follows the exploits of Wishbone the dog and his human friends, Joe, David and Samantha through their adventures in their hometown of Oakdale. Wishbone's everyday experiences trigger hi s imagination and he finds himself in scenes from classic works of lit erature. In this episode, Samantha becomes the heroine of the boys soc cer team while Wishbone becomes her ally. Meanwhile, Joan of Arc leads the men of the French Army against the English in Mark Twain's Joan o f Arc. Wishbone is her friend, Louis de Conte.
