Thomas & Friends

Good Deeds

Season 6, Episode 8 of 10

It is a busy day in Sodor as Knapford Station is being decorated. Emily is collecting the flowers for the new window boxes, but when Mavis does not say hello, Emily assumes she is sad and chuffs to the quarry to cheer her up with some of the flowers. The flowers end up in the way of the engines' work. Edward and Thomas crash and slate goes everywhere. Mavis arrives to find the quarry in a mess. Emily learns that if she had asked, she would have known that Mavis wasn't sad at all. Emily tidies the quarry and delivers the flowers, which makes Mavis really happy. Henry wants to do good deeds but instead he manages to do bad deeds. He lets a herd of clean pigs get dirty in a field. He frightens the pigs so they topple over a barrel of apples and the pigs eat the apples. He scares away the Sodor Warbler just as bird watchers are about to take its photo. In despair, Henry carries out his original task of taking a tall nesting pole to the coast. On the way, Henry gives a lift to a tired bird. It turns out to be the Sodor Warbler. All the bird watchers are delighted when Henry arrives with the rare bird on his fenders. Henry, unwittingly, has done a good deed.
